The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the Winnipeg Jets in Pittsburgh on Monday.
The Pittsburgh Penguins will play their first Western Conference team of the season on Monday.
They'll host the Winnipeg Jets inside PPG Paints Arena as they try to get off to a 3-0-0 start. The Jets will be on the second half of a back-to-back after beating the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 on Sunday.
Kyle Connor finished the game with two goals and three points, while Cole Perfetti added a goal and two assists.
Goaltender Stuart Skinner got the start in that game, meaning Clay Stevenson will start for the Jets on Monday. It would've been cool to see the Penguins face Skinner since he just played for them, but maybe he'll start when the Penguins go to Winnipeg on Feb. 21.
Sergei Murashov will make his first start of the season for the Penguins after he was the first goalie off at the morning skate.
Here's what the rest of the lines and pairs look like:
Forwards
Robertson-Crosby-Rakell
Chinakhov-Novak-Malkin
Kuzmenko-Kindel-Koivunen
Dewar-Lizotte-Lapierre
Defensive pairs
Carlile-Karlsson
Girard-Korczak
van Riemsdyk-Letang
Koivunen is coming back in the lineup for Filip Hallander, who appears to be a healthy scratch.
Bryan Rust was a full participant at the morning skate, but isn't quite ready to return yet. Once he does, another one of those forwards in the bottom six will likely come out of the lineup.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on SportsNet Pittsburgh. You can also listen to the game on 105.9 'The X.'
