Pittsburgh Penguins POHO and GM Kyle Dubas's deadline day dealing has officially kicked off.

On Friday, the Penguins traded forward Anthony Beauvillier to the Washington Capitals for a 2025 second-round pick. It was first reported by NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

Beauvillier, 27, is pending unrestricted free agent and is on the books for $1.25 million this season.

This is likely the first of several moves by Dubas today, as he is also expected to deal pending-UFA defenseman Matt Grzelcyk.
