Bryan Rust will be a game-time decision for the Pittsburgh Penguins in Nashville.
Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust has been absent from the lineup for three straight games but has been making steady progress to a return.
In a practice before departing for a contest against the Nashville Predators, Rust skated with his Penguins teammates in full capacity.
Rust skated on his own before the start of practice, but remained on the ice for the duration of the skate.
Not only did Rust remain on the ice, he was a noticeable presence on the first power play unit which has struggled mightily as of late.
Rust stated after the practice that he still isn’t sure if he’ll play in Nashville, but he’s making progress and getting closer every day.
Head coach Mike Sullivan stated that Rust is still day-to-day but will be a game-time decision against the Predators.
