    After months of speculation, it appears that Pittsburgh Penguins' captain, Sidney Crosby, is on the verge of signing an extension with the only NHL team he's ever played for. 

    Since being the top pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Crosby has worn a Penguins sweater and accumulated an estimated salary of $141,340,243.

    According to CapFriendly, the native of Cole Harbour, N.S., has signed three contracts throughout his 20 seasons:
