Team Canada advanced to the Semi-Final at Copa Ameria, with Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby in attendance to show his support.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is one of the most famous athletes from Canada, having won two Olympic Gold Medals, including scoring the Golden Goal at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.

Considering it's the off-season, Crosby had time to attend Canada's most recent soccer game at the Copa America Tournament, held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Canada advanced to its first-ever Semi-Final with a 2-1 victory over Venezuela on Friday. The match ended in penalty kicks, with the Canadiens outscoring their opponents 4-3. 

After the contest, with the Canadian athletes celebrating their most significant win, Crosby visited the dressing room and was sporting a Team Canada jersey.

On Tuesday, the Canadians will face reigning World Cup and Copa America champion Argentina. 

Win or lose, this tournament was a huge moment for the country's soccer program, which is growing in popularity.
