The Pittsburgh Penguins will not see any changes to their jerseys in the 2024-25 season.
PITTSBURGH – As Fanatics takes over as the NHL’s on-ice uniform provider, a few changes to jersey designs are expected from teams across the league, but none are coming to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Fanatics doesn’t plan on changing a lot for the 2024-25 season, but at least for one more year, the Penguins trio of sweaters are going untouched.
According to Icethetics, the Penguins won’t see any changes to their uniform design. The normal home and away jerseys that have been worn since the 2016-17 season will remain.
The diagonal Pittsburgh third jersey is also expected to stick into its fourth season with the Penguins.
No changes are expected from the base design of the Penguins uniforms. Fanatics may alter how league jerseys are made or put together for professional use, but it will not come with changes to the look of the sweaters.
With no outdoor or special games coming to the Penguins 2024-25 season, it’ll just be those three sweaters all year long. The adverts displayed on Penguins jerseys and helmets will also stick around through the 2024-25 season.
Icethetics notes that the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks are getting new looks and the new team coming to Utah will obviously need uniforms, but those will be most of the changes. Once Fanatics is settled in and ready to roll out upscaled projects, things may change.
