The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without a forward for at least four weeks.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will be without one of the players who make up their fourth line for a while.

Forward Blake Lizotte missed Monday's game against the Colorado Avalanche with an upper-body injury and will now be out for at least four weeks. Penguins PR announced the news on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Josh Yohe of The Athletic, Lizotte was seen with a cast on his right hand on Monday.

Four weeks take the Penguins to the end of the regular season, so if they make the playoffs, there's a chance Lizotte will be ready for the first round. Still, Lizotte is a tough player to replace, as he's been fantastic on the fourth line and the penalty kill.

Elmer Soderblom will take Lizotte's spot in the lineup for the foreseeable future. He had some nice chemistry with Connor Dewar and Noel Acciari on Monday.

Lizotte has compiled seven goals and 19 points in 55 games this year.
