With the minutes until the 3:00 p.m. ET trade deadline dwindling, the Pittsburgh Penguins have made another move.

First reported by NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman, the Penguins have traded forward and former first-round pick Cody Glass, along with forward prospect Jonathan Gruden, to the New Jersey Devils for forward prospect Chase Stillman, forward prospect Max Graham, and a 2027 third-round pick.

The 25-year-old center was the very first draft pick of the Vegas Golden Knights at sixth overall in 2017. He was dealt to Nashville in the summer of 2021 and spent three seasons with the Predators before he was traded to Pittsburgh in the summer of 2024, along with a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 sixth-round pick.

Glass had four goals and 15 points in in 51 games this season for Pittsburgh. He is a pending-RFA with a cap hit of $2.5 million.
