The Pittsburgh Penguins will host their annual Pride Night against the Carolina Hurricanes.
PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins are set to host their fourth annual Pride Game at PPG Paints Arena. When the Penguins return home to face off against the Carolina Hurricanes on March 26, there will be multiple ways to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
Fans in attendance will be able to connect with multiple organizations tied to the LGBTQ+ community. Those organizations will be held in the Pride Zone, located in the PPG Paints Arena concourse behind the Captain Morgan Club.
The Penguins foundations will also hold online auctions featuring autographed jerseys and pucks supporting Pride Night. Specialty warmup pucks from the game will also be sold at the arena. Proceeds will go to local LGBTQ+ communities.
Iceburgh will also don a special pride jersey, and other merchandise will be available for purchase.
The contest between the Penguins and Hurricanes will also be Jake Guentzel’s first game back in Pittsburgh since being traded earlier in the month.
