It is officially free agent frenzy season for the NCAA, and it appears that the Pittsburgh Penguins organization has already started to dabble in the market.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (WBS) Penguins - Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate - announced Tuesday that they have signed University of Maine forward Nolan Renwick to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season.

Renwick will also join WBS immediately on an amateur tryout contract (ATO).

A product of the USHL's Omaha Lancers, Renwick, 24, played four seasons at the University of Maine, totaling 24 goals and 66 points across four seasons (132 games played). This past season was his best yet, as the 6-foot-3, 212-pound right winger registered nine goals and 24 points in 38 games and was a plus-25.
