Get ready for some fun giveaways this season, Pens fans.
On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Penguins announced their promotional schedule for the 2024-25 season. There is a wide variety of giveaway items this season, and you won't want to miss it.
A small note: The Penguins have reduced the number of giveaway items they have for items such as bobbleheads, some specialty hats, and other miscellaneous items from 10,000 to 7,500. So you may have to arrive at the game a bit earlier this season in order to collect your giveaway item.
Anyway, let's highlight some of the best giveaway items on the promotional schedule this season.
This is the big fish in the pond as far as giveaways this season. After teasing fans for days leading up to the announcement, it was revealed that the bobblehead series would feature iconic players and moments from each of the Penguins' five Stanley Cup Championship runs.
The first will be Mario Lemieux from 1991, followed by Jaromir Jagr (1992), Patric Hornqvist (2017), Max Talbot (2009), and Phil Kessel (2016) in succession.
Hopefully, no bobbleheads are stolen en route to Pittsburgh this season.

Tuesday, November 19 is Hockey Fights Cancer Night, and the first 7,500 fans will take home this awesome Hockey Fights Cancer baseball cap. Not only is the hat cool, but anyone who purchases a ticket package for the game will also receive a Hockey Fights Cancer hockey shirt.
A great giveaway for a great cause.

I may be biased because I like food and Thanksgiving, but this is probably my favorite giveaway on the schedule. This one seems to be a theme across the NHL this season, as other teams are coming back with the necessary Thanksgiving dinner accessory for their Thanksgiving Eve game.
I mean, who doesn't need a Zamboni gravy boat in their china cabinet and at their year-round disposal, anyway? A must-have for any hockey fan, really.

February is Heart Health Month, and the Penguins are here to remind you that your heart health is of the utmost importance to monitor. This shirt can be worn at the arena, at the beach, at a tailgate, at a golf outing... pretty much anywhere.
And it's a steadfast reminder to keep up with routine health checks. A win-win for everyone.

There was a regular Iceburgh plush last season, and now, they've evolved and made a wearable Iceburgh plush.
This stylish headwear is inspired by the Penguins' beloved team mascot, and the first 7,500 fans in attendance on Apr. 13 can don this exclusive fashion accessory at will.

There are a lot of awesome hockey shirt designs for various theme and community/specialty games this seasons. These shirts can be obtained by purchasing ticket packages for the specified games.
Some of these games include Grateful Dead Night (pictured above) on Nov. 16, WWE Night on Dec. 17, Star Wars Night on Jan. 9, Jewish Heritage Night on Nov. 13, and Black Hockey History Game on Feb. 4.
A few other themed ticket package purchase highlights include:
- Pickleball Night on Jan. 7, in which a ticket package comes with a Penguins pickleball paddle cover
- A College Series, including beanie hats from area colleges such as Robert Morris University (Nov. 19), Point Park University (Jan. 14), Carnegie Mellon University (Mar. 13), the University of Pittsburgh (Mar. 18), and more.
- A Specialty Tumbler Series, including themed tumblers for Nurses Night Out (Nov. 19), Educator Appreciation Night (Dec. 10), First Responders Night (Jan. 14), Her Hockey Day (March 2), and the Pride Game (Mar. 13).
The full promotional schedule can be viewed on the Penguins' website.
