Drake Caggiula has been recalled to the Pittsburgh Penguins roster ahead their matchup with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The morning after making multiple moves to the roster, the Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Drake Caggiula from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

There has been some confusion surrounding the availability of Mikael Granlund and the possibility of the Penguins playing a forward down, but they should at least be able to field a roster.

Caggiula has spent a majority of the season with the WBS Penguins and has scored 37 points (12G-25A) in 47 games.

In his three games of NHL action in 2022-23, Caggiula has not recorded a point and averaged 7:28 minutes of ice time.

Over his seven-year career in the NHL, Caggiula has played in 281 games and recorded 91 points (46G-45A).

It is not yet known if Caggiula will slot into the Penguins lineup against the Tampa Bay Lightning, or if Granlund is available.
