Notable Penguins Performances On This Day

April 29, 1992 - Mario Lemieux records five points (two goals and three assists) in a 6-4 win over the Capitals. It was his third career five-point playoff game and the final one of his Hall of Fame career. 

Meanwhile, Kevin Stevens had two goals and two assists for four points for his second career four-point playoff game.

April 29, 2008 - In only his 12th career playoff game, Evgeni Malkin records two goals and an assist for his third-career three-point playoff game in a 5-3 win over the Rangers. 

April 29, 2017 - Jake Guentzel tallies two goals and an assist for his second career three-point playoff game, achieving the feat for a second time in only his seventh postseason contest.
