Notable Penguins Performances On This Day

May 13, 1992 - Ron Francis (goal, two assists) and Rick Tocchet (two goals, one assist) power the Penguins to a 5-1 victory over the Rangers in Game 6 of the Patrick Division Final, leading the club back to the Prince of Wales Final for the second consecutive season. Interestingly, this was Tocchet's only multi-goal playoff game with Pittsburgh.

May 13, 2008 - Marian Hossa tallies two goals in a 4-1 Game 3 win over the Flyers, his second and final multi-goal playoff game in a Penguins sweater. 

May 13, 2009 - Captain Sidney Crosby leads Pittsburgh back to the Stanley Cup Final with a three-point (two goals, one assist) performance in Game 7 against Alex Ovechkin and the Capitals.
