The Pittsburgh Penguins will be an interesting team to watch this off-season. After taking a nice step in the right direction this season and making the post-season, they should be looking to make some additions to their roster. This year's pending unrestricted free agents may not be the strongest bunch, but there still could be some interesting players for the Penguins to consider if they hit the market on July 1. One of them is Seattle Kraken forward Bobby McMann. If the Penguins signed McMann, they would be bringing in an impactful top-nine forward who can put the puck in the net and plays a heavy game. His stats from the 2025-26 season show this, as he set career highs with 29 goals, 17 assists, 46 points, and 165 hits in 78 games split between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Kraken. This was after he had 20 goals, 34 points, and 136 hits with the Maple Leafs in 2024-25. With numbers like these, McMann would have the potential to be a strong addition to the Penguins' roster. He would also give them another scorer to work with in their top nine and on their power play. It will be interesting to see if the Penguins end up making a push for McMann this summer. He would be a nice pickup for a Penguins club that will be looking to prove this season was not a fluke.
