The Senators recently defeated the Penguins and are also only two points behind the Panthers with a 2.3% chance at the playoffs. The Capitals are the distant longshot, but they could luck their way into a few wins if Alex Ovechkin continues to score copious amounts of goals. With a .7% chance, the Capitals aren’t dead yet.
