San Jose Sharks head coach David Quinn is coaching his 300th career game tonight. Anthony Duclair is skating in his 500th career NHL game.

Quinn wishes that he had more wins in his career but is very thankful for his time in the NHL so far.

"I wish we'd won more. That's the first thing any coach thinks," Quinn said. "I've been so blessed to coach in the National Hockey League. It's been a tough start for us, and we all know the situation we're in. It's the greatest league in the world, and I never take for granted that I coach in this league. It's an incredible honor and an incredible opportunity. I love the people I work with, and I love our team."

Quinn's overall record behind the bench is 118-139-42. He has reached the playoffs once and lost all three games in the NHL Bubble playoffs.

Duclair's journey has been all over the place. The Sharks are his seventh team in ten seasons. Duclair playing in his 500th game tonight should be considered a significant accomplishment.

"[It's an] absolute blessing. All I can think of right now is my family back home and all the sacrifices they made for me to live my childhood dream," Duclair said. "500 goes by pretty quick, but at the same time, I had a great time."

Duclair pointed out two key moments in his career. His first NHL goal and a hat trick in front of his dad while playing for the Ottawa Senators.

"I think 500 is a pretty big number, a pretty significant number, and something to be proud of," Duclair said.
