The San Jose Sharks announce they have signed defense prospect Valtteri Pulli.
On Wednesday morning, the San Jose Sharks announced that they have signed Finnish defenseman Valtteri Pulli.
General Manager Mike Grier announced that the team has signed him to a two-year entry-level contract.
"Valtteri is a solid defenseman with size," Grier said. "He plays important minutes for good programs in TPS and the Finnish National Team camps."
Pulli is listed as a 6'6, 209-pound defenseman and native of Turku, Finland.
The defenseman has registered 19 points and 20 penalty minutes in 82 career regular season Liiga games, all for TPS.
