The San Jose Sharks will be without two of their regulars tonight when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. Both Tyler Toffoli and Vincent Desharnais suffered injuries in the Sharks' most recent outing against the Buffalo Sabres. Toffoli left the game following the first period, playing just 3:41. Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky said they'll likely get a better read on Toffoli's injury in coming days, as he's unsure if the 33-year-old forward will travel on the team's upcoming road trip. Toffoli has quickly become a key part of the Sharks' forward group. In his second season with the Sharks, he's played in 67 games. During that time, he's scored 18 goals and registered a total of 44 points. Desharnais on the other hand was a game-time decision tonight, and is day-to-day with an upper body injury. As a result, he'll almost certainly be available for the Sharks on the upcoming road trip. The injury to Desharnais leaves the Sharks with just six defensemen on the roster, as a result, John Klingberg will take his place in the lineup for the time being.
