Eeli Tolvanen returns to Nashville tonight to face his former team, as the Seattle Kraken hope to secure another win on the road after being shut out by Dallas on Sunday.
Tolvanen kicked off the regular season with his first goal in Seattle's home opener against St. Louis on October 8th.
In the 2023-24 season, Tolvanen recorded 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 81 games, ranking fourth in goals and fifth in both points and assists among all Kraken skaters. His 100th career goal also marked the game-winner in the 2024 NHL Winter Classic. Against his former club, Tolvanen has netted two goals in five career matchups.
The Kraken must brace themselves as they face former teammate Jeremy Lauzon, who has tallied 23 career hits against Seattle skaters. Lauzon set the NHL record for hits in a season with a staggering 383 in 2023-24, surpassing Matt Martin’s previous mark of 382 from 2014-15. Lauzon's career stats include 290 game points, 14 goals, 30 assists and 44 points.
Puck Drop is scheduled for 5PM PST at Bridgestone Arena.
