Coachella Valley Opens Calder Cup Playoffs Friday vs. Calgary

By virtue of winning the Western Division, Coachella Valley earned a 1st round bye. Their postseason begins with a 2nd round best-of-five against the Calgary Wranglers, with Game 1 Friday in Calgary.
Through the addition of Kraken prospects after their major junior or college seasons ended, the Firebirds roster has swelled to 35 players. That includes 18 forwards, 14 defensemen, and three goalies.
