Seattle, WA - The Seattle Kraken wrapped up their three-game homestand with a frustrating 3-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs Thursday night at Climate Pledge Arena. In the final meeting between the two clubs, the Kraken dropped to 1-6-1 against Toronto, including a 0-4-0 record at home.
Despite the loss, three players marked milestones. Eeli Tolvanen tied his career high for goals, scoring his 16th of the season, a feat he has now matched for the third consecutive year. Over his last seven games, Tolvanen has accumulated seven points (5 goals, 2 assists). Joey Daccord notched his second career NHL assist on Tolvanen's goal.
In his 600th career regular-season game, Oliver Bjorkstrand recorded his 20th assist of the 2024-25 season. Tempers flared between Bjorkstrand and Simon Benoit of the Leafs, marking the second fight of the season for Bjorkstrand, who normally doesn't drop his gloves.
