Team USA won the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase, led by Seattle Kraken first-round pick Chase Reid.
The tournament took place in Windsor, Ontario, and featured Team Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the USA.
The team kicked off the tournament on July 26th. Team USA opened the tournament on July 26, losing 4-1 to Finland before bouncing back later in the day with a 6-1 win over Sweden.
On July 27, the United States swept Finland and Sweden. They won the first game 5-1 over Finland and then defeated Sweden 6-4.
On July 29, Finland won the first game 3-2 over the United States.
July 30 featured another matchup between Sweden and the USA, and Sweden won 5-2.
On the final day of the tournament, the United States defeated Canada 7-2.
Team USA played in seven games, scoring 4.14 goals per game and allowing 2.86 goals against per game. Reid recorded four points, including two goals and two assists, in the tournament.
