Applying Lessons From The Game 7 Loss In Dallas: "We should have gained confidence that we can obviously be a contender in this league. I think the biggest thing for me next year is that we're not going to surprise teams.

"On top of that, for young guys who haven't been through it, they have the experience of getting to the playoffs, how hard it is to win. You take the Dallas team, for example. That team's been through a lot of heartache. They've lost in the finals. They've lost in Game 7's before as a group.

"We can obviously be a contender in this league... Next year, we're not going to surprise teams."

"We've developed a style, playing fast and playing aggressive that we've had success with. I go back to maybe Game 7 (loss to the Stars). It's just gaining confidence that we can do that (play our style) in the toughest situations, which would be a Game 7, and have success.

"I felt like we were a bit sluggish and scared and waiting for something maybe bad to happen, rather than going at it. Those are situations where maybe veteran teams have been through it before. They've experienced that and they're just like, 'We're going to go play, and play aggressive,' whereas we hadn't gone through that."
