It took just two games for Matty Beniers to score his first NHL goal. It came at Climate Pledge Arena on April 16, 2022 against the New Jersey Devils.
The Kraken would win the game in a shootout, 4-3. Matty was named first star, and as seen in the above photo, yeeted his first fish.

Matty Beniers was supposed to represent Seattle at All-Star events in 2023, but a questionable hit by Vancouver's Tyler Myers caused him to miss the game.
Beniers provides a bunch of reasons why Bjorkstrand is a worthy representative this season. But in today's Kraken Reaction soundbite, Beniers says his teammate isn't all business, all the time.
