Before the Seattle Kraken had their turn, all 31 other current NHL franchises got a head start on nicknames, logos, uniform design - some teams have gone through a closet-full of different designs all by themselves.
That doesn't even take into account all the defunct NHL franchises, nor the hundreds of minor league, junior, and international team kits.
Yet an expert on uniforms, the "Jersey Hound," says the Kraken made winning choices not only with their regular home and away outfits, but their Winter Classic uniforms as well.
