NHL Mascots Re-unite in Tampa Bay for Summer Mascot Conference
Summer time and the living is breezy. Unless you're an 8 foot furry mascot running loose on the beaches of Florida, but these pros make it look easy. Last month 25 of the NHL mascots gathered in Tampa Bay for the annual summer mascot conference. Seattle's sea troll and master of shenanigans, Buoy, was seen partying alongside his best from the west, Fuego, from the Coachella Valley Thunderbirds.
S.J Sharkie, Bernie and Fin were first in the pool and Slapshot tried his wings at the Paddle board. Gritty the lifeguard was on standby in case the pool party got as wild as the Nerf battle.
Summer conferences for seasons 2020 and 2021 were put on hold due to covid restrictions. Here's a look back at mascot conferences from summer's past.
