GM Ron Francis Details Summer Roster Remedies
"We can't have this happen again."
That's how Seattle Kraken general manager Ron Francis summed up what he called his "stern" message in end-of-season exit interviews with players.
At a Monday press conference, Francis specifically mentioned his team's slow start, which they never really recovered from. He also indicated players may have believed their 2022-23 success would repeat without the same level of determination and effort.
Then there was the drip-drip-drip of an injury faucet that the team could never seem to shut off. And the goal-scoring faucet they could never figure out how to turn on.
