The Seattle Kraken have reassigned 10 prospects to their juniors.

The Kraken completed their first wave of cuts sending Kaden Hammell, Julius Miettinen, Ollie Josephson, Clarke Caswell, Caden Price, Tyson Jugnauth, Lukas Dragicevic, Jakub Fibigr, Andrei Loshko and Alexis Bernier to their respective CHL clubs.

The 10 prospects got to either experience their first year or second training camp and will bring that experience as well as the lessons they learned at rookie camp back with them to their junior teams.

The OHL, WHL, and QMJHL are beginning their seasons and each player will play a critical role with their teams.

It’s expected that the training camp roster will be trimmed further in the next few days/weeks ahead of the beginning of the 2024/25 regular season. Players will be sent back to their junior teams or assigned to the Kraken’s farm system, those being the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) or the Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL).

The Kraken dropped their first preseason game to the Calgary Flames on Sunday night but will be back in action when they travel to Vancouver to take on the Canucks on Tuesday.
