The Seattle Kraken have recalled John Hayden and Cale Fleury from the Coachella Valley Firebirds ahead of their upcoming road trip.

The Kraken are set to embark on a five-game road trip, during which they will take on four Atlantic Division teams. With Vince Dunn still on the LTIR, the Kraken have the cap and roster space to call both Fleury and Hayden up.

Recalling Fleury and Hayden provides the team with depth in both positions in case they run into any injuries or health issues while on the road.

Fleury has scored three goals and four points in four games with the Firebirds this season. Once Dunn was put on the LTIR, the Kraken have called Fleury up and sent him down multiple times. He's yet to feature in a game for the Kraken this season.

Hayden was one of the final roster cuts in training camp before he was sent to the Firebirds. To start the season he's yet to find the back of the net but has provided three assists in the team's first four games. His size and strength could be a valued asset in the team's bottom six if needed.

The Kraken begin their road trip on Tuesday in Montreal to take on the Canadiens.
