The Seattle Kraken have recalled goaltender Philipp Grubauer from the Coachella Valley Firebirds and reassigned Nikke Kokko to Coachella. Grubauer, waived by the Kraken on January 29, has struggled in the 2024-25 season.

In seven games with Coachella Valley, he posted a 5-2-0 record, with an .893 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA. With Seattle, he has gone 5-15-1, with an .866 save percentage and a 3.83 GAA.

The first 10,000 fans to arrive at Climate Pledge Arena for Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Wild will receive a Philipp Grubauer bobblehead.
