The Kraken will roll out the blue carpet and giant bobbleheads for the regular season opener against the St. Louis Blues.
The Seattle Kraken's regular season starts on Tuesday, October 8th at Climate Pledge Arena with a rare mid-day face-off against the St. Louis Blues at 1:30PM PST. The Kraken are one of six teams with scheduled games for the NHL’s first-ever triple header opening day.
The Kraken are asking fans to take the day off and arrive early (by 10 AM) at the arena for a party on the plaza. Expect to see the blue carpet and giant bobbleheads rolled out for player arrivals, along with live music, face painting, and a beer garden. Did you say giant bobbleheads?
During the week leading up to opening day, the giant bobbleheads of Matty Beniers, Jaden Schwartz, Jordan Eberle, Vince Dunn, and Jared McCann will be situated throughout the Puget Sound, along with 'giant tentacles.' Fans can find locations on the Kraken Bobblehead Finder map and are encouraged to take selfies and share their photos on social media as part of 'Sound the Call'.
