

Seattle, WA - June 2, 2025- Seattle Kraken General Manager Jason Botterill announced that the 32nd franchise has signed forward Ben Meyers to a one-year, one-way contract extension ($775,000 AAV) through the 2025-26 season.
Meyers, 26, had a standout 2024-25 season with the AHL's Coachella Valley Firebirds, posting career highs in goals (23), assists (28), and points (51) over 57 games. He led the team in points and added three more (1g/2a) in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
A Minnesota native, Meyers played three NCAA seasons at the University of Minnesota, earning multiple 2022 honors and captaining the team to a Big Ten title. He also represented Team USA at the 2022 Olympics and World Championship.
"Ben's a versatile player with NHL experience," said Botterill. "He had a terrific season in Coachella Valley and was a driving force on the Firebirds. We're excited to bring him back for the upcoming season."
