The Seattle Kraken laid eggs in the first two games of their road trip in Philadelphia and New Jersey. They didn't prepare a 5-star omelette against the Islanders Tuesday, but there was a noticeable upgrade to their play, reflected in a 2-1 shootout victory.
The Kraken offense continues to stumble, scoring just four times in the first three games of the trip. So tonight against the Boston Bruins, Seattle must again be stout defensively.
To that end, the third-paring defense of Brian Dumoulin and Justin Schultz will likely be ready to go; each missed games earlier in the trip. Joey Daccord, who's started 22 of the last 25 Kraken games, will likely be in goal.
The Bruins have defied expectations to once again be the beasts of the Eastern Conference. Their 74 points trails only the Vancouver Canucks in the entire NHL.
Hoping to replicate their effort against the Islanders is today's Kraken Reaction video.
