The Seattle Kraken's AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds were recognized by the AHL for overall ticket sales growth and group ticket sales growth.
After reaching the Calder Cup finals in their first-ever season, the Firebirds were hungry to get back and change the result. Ultimately, they fell short at the same point to the same team but the growth of the team and the fanbase was undeniable.
The Firebirds were recognized as the Western Conference team with the most overall ticket sales growth and group ticket sales growth.
The Firebirds ranked fifth overall in attendance record with an average of 8,844. Only the Cleveland Monsters, Hershey Bears, Laval Rocket and the Chicago Wolves had a higher average attendance record.
After watching key players leave the organization, the Firebirds will look to their new, young crop of players to continue their past success.
