Seattle Kraken forward Jordan Eberle and defenseman Ryker Evans skated in regular practice jerseys for the second consecutive practice.

Ahead of their 3-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Evans and Eberle participated in practice with contact, upgrading their status from non-contact just a couple of days before.

The Kraken have one more game before the 4 Nations Face-Off and are hoping to welcome back Evans. He's been dealing with an upper-body injury since Jan. 28 but has been considered day-to-day since then.

His development has hit a new level this year, scoring five goals and 21 points in 50 games, but the trust he's developed from the coaching staff has been the most pleasant part of his game. He's averaging over 20:00 of ice time and has shown comfortability playing alongside multiple defence partners.

Eberle, the Kraken's captain, has been out since Nov. 14, and the Kraken will be hoping he'll be up to game speed after the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The 34-year-old played in just 17 games before sustaining his pelvis injury but was able to score five goals and 11 points. His return will likely cause some changes in the lineup, but with the rumours that the Kraken could look to move multiple players, it might not force too many players into unfamiliar spots.
