
Everett, WA - The Everett Silvertips battled their rivals, the Seattle Thunderbirds, on Teddy Bear Toss Night at Angel of the Winds Arena on Saturday, December 7th. In front of a sold-out crowd, Everett triumphed 4-1.
Jesse Heslop scored the first goal for Everett setting off a thousand furries falling from the stands released from the happy hands of Silvertips fans.
Kraken prospect Kaden Hammell recorded an assist on the power play and leads Everett with 6 goals and 14 assists, Hammell has netted three game-winning goals for Everett this season.
Julius Miettinen ranks second in assists and power-play goals for Everett, with 33 points, and recently recorded his 100th WHL career point.
The Silvertips are dominating the WHL and CHL charts this week, claiming the #1 spot in power rankings and #2 in the CHL standings. Goalie Raiden LeGall was named both a Player and Goalie of the Week.
