Everett Silvertips will host annual Pink the Rink breast cancer awareness game on Saturday at Angel of the Winds Arena.

The Everett Silvertips will host its annual "Pink the Rink" breast cancer awareness game this Saturday, October 26th at Angel of the Winds Arena against the Wenatchee Wild. Puck drop is 6:05 PM PST.

Partnering with the Silvertips, Providence Health & Services aims to promote early detection and advocate for affordable treatments for cancer patients. The ice will be illuminated in magenta, featuring a pre-game ceremony to honor survivors and pay respects to those who lost their battle with the disease. The entire Silvertips roster will wear shades of pink, with skaters donning specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.

NHL prospects Tarin Smith (Anaheim Ducks) and Kaden Hammell (Seattle Kraken) modeled the debut of this year's 2024 Pink the Rink jerseys.

Proceeds from auctioned items will benefit funding for mammograms for breast cancer patients in the Everett/Snohomish County area. Other auction items included: blank non-game-worn jerseys, a custom Pink the Rink goalie mask, mystery-signed sticks, and pink Silvertips-branded Converse sneakers.

The Silvertips are expected to reach a total of $1 Million raised in the years combined since the team has held it's first event.
