Kraken & Jackets Would Prefer Avoiding Overtime - Both Have 9 OT/SO Losses

Editor's Notes: Photo above is the infamous cannon at Nationwide Arena, home of the Blue Jackets.
This story is the third of three in advance of the Kraken-Blue Jackets game Saturday.
During their eight game winning streak and 12 games in a row with at least a point (10-0-2), the Seattle Kraken have been exceedingly stingy at allowing opposition scores. Seattle has two shutouts, surrendered one goal six times, two goals three times, and four goals once.
They'll have an additional motivation Saturday to shut down the Columbus Blue Jackets. After every home goal at Nationwide Arena since 2007, a specially-made concussion grenade sets off a "Boom!" inside a replica 19th century Napoleon cannon.
The Jackets experienced a more damaging explosion before the season, having to dismiss coach Mike Babcock. The former coach and the cannon are topics of this Kraken Reaction video with THN Columbus site editor Jason Newland.
