The Seattle Kraken announced on Wednesday, July 1st, that the team had agreed to terms with forward Mackie Samoskevich.

Samoskevich signed a three-year deal worth $3.85 million annually.

The 23-year-old was traded to the Seattle Kraken from the Florida Panthers on June 21 in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft and a second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft.

He has played three seasons with the Florida Panthers after being drafted 24th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.

Last season with Florida, Samoskevich recorded a career-high 32 points in 77 games. In 156 NHL games, he has 27 goals and 36 assists for 63 points.

He also helped Florida win the Stanley Cup in 2024-25.
