Jared McCann, Chandler Stephenson and Ryker Evans will all be game-time decisions when the Seattle Kraken host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.
Stephenson exited last night's game against the Washington Capitals, one of his two former teams, with an upper-body injury. The 30-year-old played just 10:15 before exiting the game.
Despite his struggles to be impactful at 5-on-5, Stephenson has recorded eight goals and 33 points in 48 games. He skated today on his own and his status won't be known until game time.
McCann is once again leading the Kraken in points, scoring 14 goals and 36 points. Although his numbers are down in comparison to his first three seasons with the team, the 28-year-old has been the Kraken's most dangerous offensive player.
Currently, his injury status is being considered undisclosed and his availability to play against one of his former teams is in jeopardy.
Evans' injury is also undisclosed and he did not miss a shift against the Capitals, playing 20:53 of ice time. The 23-year-old previously missed two games with a hand injury after blocking a shot but has been as consistent as they come on the Kraken blue line.
He's averaging just over 20 minutes a night and has scored five goals and 21 points in 47 games.
The Kraken defeated the Penguins 4-2 just 10 days ago but will be in tough if any of the three listed players are missing, let alone if they all aren't able to dress.
