One in five adults in the U.S. (18 years or older) participate in "fantasy" sports. Of that 50-million-plus pool, according to FSGA.com, 12% are in one or more fantasy hockey leagues.
Not surprisingly, since people compete in fantasy leagues for fun AND profit, the overlap between sports bettors and fantasy participants is significant.
The worldwide fantasy sports market is estimated to reach $38.6 billion by 2025, according to PlayToday.co.
If your fantasy is knowing more about this expanding corner of the hockey universe, you've come to the right place (and you really should get out more, just saying.)
