The Seattle Kraken and Buffalo Sabres share perfect 2-0-0 records since the calendar turned to 2024.
That means something will have to give Tuesday night at KeyBank Center, where Seattle begins a six game road trip.
Seattle last played Thursday at Climate Pledge Arena, downing the Ottawa Senators, 4-1. The Kraken's 10 game points streak (8-0-2) has pushed them into a tie for the 2nd Western Conference Wild Card slot.
Like the Kraken, Edmonton and St. Louis currently have 41 points. However, the Oilers have three games in hand, the Blues one, so Seattle is technically still on the outside looking in.
To discuss tonight's matchup with Buffalo, we've enlisted THN Sabres site editor Michael Augello for our latest Kraken Reaction video.
