As that Vegas mainstay Elvis Presley once implored us in song, "A little less conversation, a little more action, please."
It's been a full year since the NHL announced that its signature in-season event, the Winter Classic, was coming to Seattle.
The conversation is almost over, and the action will begin shortly after 12 noon Pacific Time (TV: TNT).
The host Seattle Kraken and visiting Vegas Golden Knights will emerge from the dugouts at T-Mobile Park and walk along makeshift piers to a rink constructed between first and third base.
