Kraken Went Unbeaten In Regulation For Last Eight Games Of Month

A theater review of the Seattle Kraken December performance would read something like this: hated Act I, loved Act II.

Act I contained a losing streak which reached eight games with a shutout loss to the Minnesota Wild December 10.

Act II opened with the Kraken on the happy end of a shutout over the Florida Panthers on December 12. The curtain fell on December's Act II to a thunderous ovation Friday at Climate Pledge Arena.

Justin Schultz's overtime goal beat the red-hot Philadelphia Flyers 2-1. Maybe the plot was a bit unlikely - eight losses followed by eight games unbeaten in regulation (6-0-2) - but as everyone in attendance could attest, it was a crowd-pleaser.

In this Kraken Reaction video, players and coach Hakstol address not just the win over the Flyers, but also the team's overall change in fortunes.
