Andre Burakovsky recalled feeling "tired" one night while a member of the Colorado Avalanche.

The Kraken winger revealed his "solution" during a YouTube video with Spittin' Chiclets hosts Paul Bissonnette and Keith Yandle.

"I drank like 1,000 milligrams (of caffeine)," said Burakovsky. For reference, that's equivalent to 13 single-shot espressos. "I felt like I had a heart attack, I swear to God. I got pulled out of the game, EKGs all over me, I lost my vision."

"Biz" and Yandle had invited Burakovsky and Kraken teammate Brandon Tanev to a Seattle coffee house for a brewing competition - which the Kraken players won. The video was recorded just prior to the Winter Classic & recently published.

FYI, $20,000 will buy you the highest of high-end commercial espresso machines.

Bissonnette: "You think you can talk Ronnie (Kraken GM Ron Francis) into dropping 20 G's on one of these for the locker room?"

Burakovsky: "We have one; it has never worked, though."

Fans Of Kraken Fans

What does work for the pair of Kraken players is Seattle fans. Both were asked how Kraken supporters compare to fans in established NHL markets.

Burakovsky: "It's almost better here. They come every game to support, win or lose."

Tanev: "The love the city has for it - it's so great to see hockey flourishing, especially with the youth. The game is growing so fast."

Backing Coach Hakstol

Biz, as is his wont, made a mischievous attempt to stir up trouble. "Does coach Dave Hakstol ever loosen up?" The answer might have surprised him, and perhaps you, too.

Burakovsky: "I think he looks more tense than he really is."

Tanev: "Hak's an incredible guy, a great person and a great coach. When you're conversing on a day-to-day basis away from the rink, it's easy flowing. But when you get to the game, it's important for us to be in the moment. He does a great job of leveling us out and getting us ready to play."

Andre's One-Way Conversation

Burakovsky delivered a hilarious parting shot, discussing how his and Tanev's pregame routines differ. "I'm like the loud guy who likes to joke around, even before games, keeping it loose.

"I was trying to talk to (Tanev) a little bit before a game, (yelling) 'Turbo! Turbo!'" Burakovsky then mimicked Tanev; closed mouth and serious expression. "I was like, 'Nice talk.'"
