McCann Tops Franchise In Career Scoring: 96 Goals, 182 Points

Both with the Penguins and during the Seattle Kraken's expansion season, Jared McCann saw spot duty at center.
A combination of injuries and Alex Wennberg's trade to the Rangers forced McCann from the left wing back into the pivot for stretches this past season.
Despite shifting positions, McCann racked up a team-high 29 goals, and recorded his first career four-point game in a February Kraken victory over Vancouver.
"The majority of nights he's done a really good job defensively in his reads and in the work that you have to do in the way we play," former Seattle coach Dave Hakstol said in March. "He has all the abilities to do it and certainly his willingness has been outstanding."
McCann discusses the difference in forward positions, as well as improvements the Kraken need to make next season, in this Kraken Reaction.
