The Matty Beniers-Jordan Eberle-Jared McCann line (pictured above) was a potent offensive force for the Seattle Kraken in 2022-23. The trio combined for 84 goals and 190 points.
Nothing about the Kraken offense has been potent this season. Going into Thursday's road trip finale against the Boston Bruins, Seattle is 27th in the NHL in scoring at 2.7 goals per game, down from 3.5 last season.
When lines aren't clicking, they're bound to be shifted around. Besides, Beniers and Eberle have been caught in a seemingly never-ending series of Kraken injures, which has necessitated lineup juggling.
Tuesday on Long Island, all three members of the reunited line contributed to Beniers' 1st period goal. We detailed how here.
