Wright was selected fourth overall in 2022 by the Kraken; however, his career hasn’t panned out with Seattle the way both parties had hoped. The Kraken, however, are not willing to part ways with Wright unless they consider a fair price in the trade. Last season with the Kraken, Wright appeared in 74 games, recording 12 goals and 15 assists. In four seasons in the NHL, he has played 169 games, tallying 36 goals and 42 assists. The 22-year-old has not seen the success the team had hoped for in the major leagues, and with five landing spots that could make sense, it may be time to consider the next destination for the forward.
