ST. LOUIS -- Some may have come into Saturday night wondering what Jordan Kyrou's response would be after a humbling experience two nights ago.

When Kyrou was booed throughout the game in a 4-2 win against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday for a comment he made regarding former Blues coach Craig Berube, he took it to heart by the fan reaction, which was none too pleased with him.

How would the St. Louis Blues forward respond after that experience? Well, he was all over the ice, scoring a goal and assisting on two others, including Colton Parayko's goal 37 seconds into overtime in a 4-3 win against the Dallas Stars at Enterprise Center on Saturday.

Kyrou was all over the ice. He was influential in every positive way, from tracking pucks, to speed with it, to shooting the puck (nine on goal on 11 attempts).

Any time he touched the puck on this night, something dangerous was happening. And the fans, who basically gave a Kyrou a lesson-learning experience two nights ago, were much more appreciative of him and his play Saturday.

"I thought he was outstanding, outstanding," Blues interim coach Drew Bannister said. "He looked like an elite player in the league, and he did things the right way. He was tracking down pucks, stopping on pucks, he was winning wall battles, offensively he was dangerous. Every time he touched the puck, he was dangerous. I thought he was outstanding."

And Kyrou felt the love of the 18,096 in attendance.

"Definitely, for sure. Oh yeah," he said. "Definitely just a confidence booster for sure, momentum booster. Just got me going for sure.

"That was definitely tough, right? Messages from a lot of people. I tried staying off social media, but obviously it's kind of hard. You see things everywhere."
